Tassawwuf

Many books have been written on tassawwuf throughout history, each one describing tassawwuf as a very important science in Islam in attaining to Allah’s nearness. If we were to write about tassawwuf, this website would contain pages and pages of literature to read. Understanding tassawwuf is something best achieved through experience rather then just reading books. Our Murshad Pak takes his students on a spiritual journey whereby they get to experience tassawwuf first hand.

Bayt

The seeker must follow a Kamil Murshad to guide him to Allah, the seeker must give his oath and his allegiance. He must learn from his teacher how to leave his bad manners and to lift himself to better conduct in order to reach the nearness of Allah through spirituality.

The meaning of Bayt has been mentioned in the Holy Qur’an, In verse 10 of Surat al-Fath,

“Verily those who swear allegiance to thee indeed swear allegiance to Allah. The hand of Allah is over their hands. So whoever breaks his oath, breaks it to his own loss; and whoever fulfils the covenant that he has made with Allah, He will surely give him a great reward” (Surah Al Fath 48:10).

“And [had you been present], you would see the sun when it rose, inclining away from their cave on the right, and when it set, passing away from them on the left, while they were [laying] within an open space thereof. That was from the signs of Allah . He whom Allah guides is the [rightly] guided, but he whom He leaves astray – never will you find for him a protecting guide” (Surat Al Kahf 18:17).

Zikr

There are various forms of Zikr and Zikr Pak has many benefits, one of which is to help the Seeker in purifying him/herself of the blemishes of the Nafs which are present inside every individual (except Prophets). A seeker can experience different types of Zikr throughout their spiritual journey at the discretion of their Shaykh.

Those who believe and their hearts become calm and contented with the remembrance of Allah — know that it is the remembrance of Allah alone that brings calm to the hearts (Surah Al Rad 13:28).

O Believers! Keep remembering Allah abundantly (Surah Ahzab 33:41).
